What is BPC-157?

BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide derived from a sequence found in gastric juice. It is studied widely in preclinical repair research for its apparent influence on angiogenesis and cellular signalling.

What is KPV?

KPV is a tripeptide corresponding to the C-terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. It is studied specifically for anti-inflammatory signalling within the melanocortin system.

Key differences in the research

BPC-157 is examined mostly in repair and vascular models, while KPV is examined for inflammatory signalling pathways. In short, the literature frames BPC-157 around tissue repair mechanisms and KPV around modulating inflammation, though both are described strictly as mechanisms under investigation.
